Okay now it's too hot…

Monday was a nice relaxing day. Karen came in and fed the hungry crew, it's going to be a hot one out there today. We did some personal care and a nice long hot bath and it was already 86° so I decided to just stay in bed, I hope this heat isn't going to keep me in bed too much longer… I'm already getting antsy. I've caught up on everything so now I have to invent stuff to do LOL. I felt really drowsy all day but couldn't go to sleep, so frustrating! I watch TV I listen to music and drifted in and out. Rosa came in and fed the hungry boys and then fed me, I had vegetable lasagna that Heather made and it was awesome! After she left I watch TV for a while until my uncle, my aunt, Claudia, and my mom came into play cribbage.

Tuesday was a super exciting day!  Cindy came in and fed the hungry crew and then fed me. I wanted to get up late Because I have a late night concert at Saratoga Mountain Winery, I'm going to see Ziggy Marley and Michael Franti and I am so excited! I have always liked Ziggy Marley's music but a couple of years ago I went to a Mountain Sol today consort in Felton and fell in love with Michael Franti. When I heard he was playing at the Mountain Winery I immediately got tickets, a couple days later I was telling my massage therapist and she said she would drive so I went and bought tickets for the next day. We stayed in bed and took everything out of the closet in the front bedroom, I need to go through and get rid of a lot of stuff but it's so hard for me. About noon Cindy got me dressed in up in my chair, I took Robby out for a short cruise over to Depot Park, to the wharf and then back home. I took Dude for a cruise to the end of the wharf and back, I wanted to take him farther but it was really hot and I didn't want to get overheated and then go to the concert. Cindy fed the hungry crew before she left. Trish came by, she was driving us to the concert, and off we went. We picked up a friend of hers on the way and got there in time to get something to eat and then find our seats, I didn't really need to find them because it's the same tickets I get for four concerts every year. He put on an incredible concert! He and everybody around him have so much love, fun and just care about every single person in the world and it shows. He's got kids and people up on his stage helping him sing his song, he cruised around in every section of the crowd. I put my chair up as high as it goes and he came around and gave me a hug, he sang and danced in front of us a little bit… You can see Mo and Trish dancing in the background. As he left he shook my hand and danced off through the crowd. I didn't think about taking any pictures when I saw him but the guy in the row in front of us said that he had a video and he sent it to us. If that wasn't the most incredible concert I've ever been to its close. We were all wound up driving home and I was wondering how I was going to get to sleep, we got home at 11:30 p.m. and Sara was here waiting to put me to bed. I don't think I have ever been this exhausted, I was so glad I had somebody to help me because I don't think I could've gone to bed by myself. It was Sara's first day on her own and she did great, thank goodness because I just couldn't keep my eyes up open. My arms hurt from clapping and throwing them in the air and waving them around. She put me to bed and took the dogs out one last time and she was gone. I tried to edit some of the pictures but my arms were so tired and I was out.

Wednesday was another fantastic day! Susan came in to give me a nice long two-hour massage, Karen came in and we did some personal care and a nice long hot bath and then she got me dressed and up in my chair to go to the Michael Franti concert one more night.  Susan, my massage therapist was going to go with me to this concert. On the way there I happened to look at the tickets and found that I had bought tickets in the first row, I usually get section 10 but this time I just chose best available and it was so amazing! This time Michael Franti was onstage first and Ziggy Marley second, we hurried up and got some food and found our seats. I sat my chair up as far as it would go, the concert was just as amazing as it was the night before. Susan danced the whole time, actually, everybody did… You just can't sit still when this guy is putting on a concert! At one point he knelt down on the stage in front of me and was singing and looking right at me, I wanted so badly to wink and take a picture with my Google Glass but now that it's not working as well as it was I have to look down in order to blink and take a picture and I didn't want him to think I was looking away, I was hoping Susan videoed it on her phone but she didn't. After the concert, the lead guitarist came down and stuck a guitar pick on my four head and took some pictures with me and then with Susan!  We decided not to stay for Ziggy Marley because I was really exhausted and I was getting a little cool. At one point during the concert, Michael went up and found a lady whose birthday it was so he had everybody in the crowd sing happy birthday to her, it was so awesome! When we decided to leave early Susan suggested we go up and find a lady whose birthday it is and give our tickets, we found her friend and she said the lady went to her car to get something so we told her we would like to give her the tickets and she said "she is going to die". I went down to say hello to my friend Bob who gets to work at most of the concerts, how awesome is that?? When we were leaving we ran into the two ladies and an escort that was going to take them down to the seats where we were so we had to stay and watch her reaction, as she got closer to the seats her hands were over her mouth and her eyes were big as saucers… It looked like she was crying. What a great feeling that was! We were still amped and cranked up the radio and saying all the way home, Susan is so much fun to hang out with! Karen was here to put me to bed and again I was out… I didn't see how Michael could possibly outdo the concert last night but he sure did. Maybe it was because we had front row seats? As soon as Karen put me to bed I wanted to edit more pictures but I couldn't keep my eyes open and before I knew it I was out.

Thursday was a pretty good day, I had a little sore on my bottom from staying up too long but I had to get up again today. Karen came in and got me dressed and up in my chair. I took Robby for a cruise around the ballpark a couple of times and then back home, Dude was next and we cruised down to the end of the wharf and back. Daniel the IT guy was going to come in and help me with some more stuff on my computer, this guy knows his stuff and he is awesome! I was supposed to go with Rosa to the Crows Nest but she saw Daniel when she came in and called her daughter to tell her that we were going to go, her daughter was going to drive us there. I didn't want to disappoint her and I still would have gone but I was just so exhausted. She put me to bed and gave me something to eat and again I was out.

Friday was a pretty exciting day!  Dudes forth birthday! I got him some dog tennis shoes for when it starts getting hot here so we're trying to get him used to them. Karen came in and got me up and I took Robby for a cruise down to depot parking back and then I took Dude down to the end of the wharf and back. Joy, the dog conditioner, came by to give me a few tips. The first concert on the beach at the boardwalk, I kinda knew when I woke up that I probably wasn't going to go because of two late nights in a row I have a couple blisters on my butt that I need to get rid of. The first concert was the English Beat and I'm sad but I just don't think I should go. Dude and I took off for another cruise, they were supposed to be working all day out in front of my house, in fact, they made everybody take their vehicles off the street and said any vehicles left on the street will be towed… They did absolutely nothing all day. The sign said they were supposed to work all day until 5 PM so my caregiver put her car back on the street at 5 PM and then they came and said they were going to start now so everybody needs to get the car back off the street, does this mean we're going to hear the sounds of the truck all night long?? Sara came in and put me to bed after she fed the hungry crew. She got me something to eat and then went home. I worked on my blog for a while while I was waiting for Debbie and her family to get here, they just went on a really beautiful Alaskan cruise and are going to come by and stay for a couple of days on the way back… Kelly went to pick them up at the airport.

Saturday was a really great day. Cindy came in and got me dressed and up in my chair after she fed the hungry crew. I went out to say hello to everyone before I took Robby for a cruise over to the wharf and back. We decided to go to Surfriders Café for lunch before we took off for the concert. We called Tom and Kelly to see if they wanted to join us, Steve, Debbie Cameron, Carmen and I cruised down there with Dude. The place was crowded and right outside on the patio, I heard somebody say "hey Tammie! And I looked over and there was Tim and Allison with some of their family and of course her SD Jim, they looked after Robby when I went to Santa Rosa for two weeks for team training with Dude. They also come over for the CCI play dates every month, I seem to run into them everywhere. We went inside and it was just as crowded, we ended up waiting for Tim and Allison to leave and we took their table. We cruised back and Debbie and I got ready to go, we're going to Saratoga Mountain Winery to see foreigner… I'm so excited! Not only to see Foreigner but to see Foreigner with my cousin Debbie, it's been such a long time and is nice to have some alone time with her. When we were younger she was my little buddy and then I didn't see her for about 20 years so I'm getting to know her and her family and they are such awesome people! I texted Roger to see where he was sitting and he said he had just got there and he would come by and say hello, he said their closing Dominican Rehab hospital and now he's over at the big hospital and not even helping people out with their cheers anymore. Our seats were on the side of the stage but the guy that showed us to our seats said that if the people didn't show up in section 10, where I usually am, he would let us go over there but of course it was a packed auditorium. I was surprised that I not only knew every song but knew all the words to every song, I thought maybe I would know a couple of songs. After the concert, we cruised home and Sara was here to put me to bed. What an awesome day!

Sunday was another amazing day! Cindy came in and got me dressing up in my chair after she fed everybody. I said good morning to everybody and then headed up the hill to urgent care, last time I took a bath I thought I had water in my ear but when Rosa rolled me over it was blood and I was afraid that my eardrum was punctured because the pain was still there, Karen looked inside with one of those o-scopes and said it looked like dried blood and wax so I just wanted to go up and make sure. There was only one couple in their waiting and online it said there would be an hour and 15-minute wait but I didn't even wait five minutes. Everybody was so nice, the doctors assistant took my vitals and brought me to another room and before I knew it the doctor was there, Dr. Lewis, his assistant said he was really nice and everybody likes them and I can see why. He looked in my ear and said it looked like it was bruised, that's what the dried blood was, but he said my eardrum was intact and not damaged. I were typing implement on my left hand at night and it's got a pointy eraser tip on the end, sometimes at night when my ear pitches I get so frustrated and stick it in my ear even though I know, I shouldn't do it. He said it shouldn't hurt and when I told him it was hurting he looked again and said I have a pimple in my ear… Seriously?? So he wrote me a prescription for some antibiotic ointment and after I left I went to pick it up from Safeway. I came back and we hung out for a while in the yard playing table tennis and just catching up, it was really nice! We had a barbecue for Father's Day and birthdays. We were trying to decide what to barbecue and that evening my brother and his family sent me a big box from Omaha steaks, there were stakes, hamburgers, hot dogs, steak fries and even dessert… It was so amazing!! Sara came in and helped me with my plate and then put me to bed. Steve heard that I have never seen Guardians of the Galaxy so he suggested that after I go to bed we watched the movie, I downloaded that when in the second movie. I don't know why but whenever I shut down my computer and watch a movie with someone I always falsely, I opened up my eyes and I Steve said "do you want us to leave" I said "no I'm just going to doze in and out, I can't help myself, so just finish watching it and I'll watch it another time. After everybody left I fell fast asleep and slept all the way through the night.
