Tuesday was a really awesome day! Cindy came in and fed everybody and then got me up, I took Robby out for a nice long cruise down Westcliff Drive, to the beginning of the worth and then down alongside the boardwalk and then back home. I took Dude for a short cruise and then got a message from Andrei asking if I could come in for my wheelchair evaluation at 1 PM, my appointment was at 2 PM but I was so anxious to go in… FINALLY, I get my new chair. This chair that I have has been a lemon for five years, fixed more times than anybody else's according to Jack and Andrei. My new chair is going to be amazing, from a sitting position it lifts you up so you can talk to people eye to eye. It feels so sturdy to drive, I'm so glad I have these guys around to help me out. They're going to put a bar on the back so I can carry my backpack and bags for grocery shopping by myself. They're adapting a little USB port for my electric throw, I really miss that… We had to take it off because my battery kept running down and they thought that that was the problem but it wasn't. I want to say that now that it's time to get a new chair we finally got this chair together but it's still wobbly and barely gets me around, I'll have my new one in February… I hope this one last that long. I was in such a great mood when we left! We stopped by Staff of Life to see what kind of soups they had, I got a final and artichoke soup there last week and it was awesome so I was hoping they would have some more but they didn't. Cindy dropped me off so I could take Dude for a cruise at least to the end of the wharf and back home. Rosa came in and put me to bed and got me something to eat and after watching TV for a while I was out.
Wednesday was another great day, I can't believe how great the weather has been. Karen came in and we did some personal care and a nice long hot bath. I took Robby for a cruise through the lagoon and down to the wharf a couple of times and back before I dropped him off and grabbed Dude. We cruised down to the wharf and then it was time to head over to my appointment with Jennifer at Simply Skin, I got there a little early so I was sitting out front watching the traffic and when I turned around there was Heather, I hadn't seen her for years and it was nice to see her. She was helping her wife Mariposa carry some stuff into her office, Mariposa is an acupuncturist among other things… She is very knowledgeable about Chinese medicine also. I talked to them for a couple of minutes and then had to get into my appointment, hopefully, I will see them again. It felt so good to finally get my facial and get my face waxed, my cheeks get fuzzy if I don't go every three weeks and I missed my appointment to go see a sick friend over the hill. After my appointment, I cruised home and Rosa was here to feed the crew and put me to bed. My brother, Janet, Karen and Nathan came in with their adorable little dogs. I had a craving earlier for a Reuben sandwich so Stanley made one for dinner, it was awesome! I also found some vegan chocolate tapioca pudding that tastes really good so I had some of that also and some tea. I was so exhausted that I kept falling asleep and finally just gave in.
Thursday was a great day, Thanksgiving! Karen came in and fed the kids and got me up. Stanley made a killer breakfast, I really miss being able to eat eggs but the breakfast was awesome! Hashbrowns, bacon and a biscuit. Stanley, Nathan, Corrine and I took all the fur babies for a walk down to the wharf, through Bay Street parking, through the lagoon and back. We hung out for a while and Nathan's parents and his two brothers came to join us for Thanksgiving dinner, they are all so nice. Everything was great and I ate way too much but you're supposed to on Thanksgiving right?? Karen came in again to put me to bed and after Nathan's family left we played cribbage until we can keep our eyes open anymore. For some reason, I was so itchy so I took a couple of Benadryl and it really knocked me out. I did have some decaf coffee and a piece of apple pie and pumpkin cheesecake, I think I'm going to be sorry tomorrow but everything was so delicious! As soon as we were done playing cribbage I was out, my mom was talking to me and I just kept falling asleep.
Friday was another perfect day, I can't believe how nice the weather has been… It's like 72° outside. Karen came in and fed the gang and we did some personal care and I got to take a nice long hot bath. Stanley made another killer breakfast, honey-baked ham, potatoes and a biscuit. Nathan, Corrine and I took the fur babies for a cruise through the lagoon, Down Bay St., Park, down to the wharf and then home. When we got back everybody packed up and headed back to Modesto, it was a really nice time. Theresa texted me and said that her sister was visiting from Mexico so she wanted to come in at 7 PM. The first cruise I took Robby so it was time to take Dude for cruise, I'm still really nervous thinking that he's going to go to the bathroom in public so we cautiously cruised through Depot Park, down to the end of the wharf and back where I ran into Tammy, she does Segway tours and I rented to her all over the place. We cruised down to the boardwalk so I can take some pictures, it always looks so beautiful around Christmas! We cruised the boardwalk and I took some pictures, my Google glass decided to work today, and we came back on the outside in case Dude decided to poop. I decided to go back home and drop off the pup and cursed back by myself, it's so nice to not have to worry about anything. On the way through Depot Park, I saw the Christmas train just sitting there so I took some pictures, I guess they're doing a trial run for when they start the Christmas train. When I got to the Wharf I noticed that my batteries were getting low so I decided not to cruise down to the end of the wharf or over to the boardwalk like I wanted but I did get some really pretty pictures of the sunset and some more pictures of the train as it came back. I thought to myself I'll just go back again another evening when I know my Google glasses going to work and I have more battery. I watched TV for a while and then Theresa came in and put me to bed, my mom fed the fur babies earlier. She made me some lamb tacos from the meat that Talya made for me and they were awesome! I watch TV for a while, 90-day fiancée, listen to some music, started an audiobook and then fell asleep. Such a great day, I want to start staying up a little bit later… I feel like such a grown-up and everything is so beautiful at night.
Saturday was not such a good day. I thought about staying in bed but the Woofpack was not going to come and get Robby and I thought the boys needed some exercise, plus I wanted to go grocery shopping. Cindy came in and fed everybody and got me up. I took a Claritin and some Flonase but my nose just wouldn't stop running and the more I bounced around outside the worse it got, I finally just gave up and came home after cruising Robby for an hour. I texted Theresa and asked her if she would take me to the grocery store, she was coming in at 2 PM, and she said she would. By the time she got here I just felt miserable and wanted to go back to bed. I took two gabapentin for nerve pain and two Benadryl and she put me to bed and I had some rotisserie chicken, asparagus, and tomato soup. I fell asleep for a little while and woke up feeling better so I watched TV for a while until I fell asleep again.
Sunday was a relaxing day. Cindy came in and fed the crew and they fed me, took the boys out for a cruise and then put me on my side for the day. I was feeling better and I was going to get up but I read the weather and it said that it was supposed to start raining at 11 AM and ran on through the night so I decided to just stay in bed and watch movies, I watched Mandy Moore's new movie 47 m down and it reminded me of how claustrophobic I would be in the water but it was a pretty good movie. My aunt came over and I talked to her for a little bit and then took a little nap. Theresa came in and fed the animals and set me back up, it was so nice to be in the upright position again… My body doesn't like being on its side very well. She made me some tilapia, asparagus and tomato soup… And of course vegan chocolate tapioca pudding for dessert. I watched TV for the rest of the evening, I can't wait to get up and out of here next week… It's supposed to be sunny but a little cool all week. I hope my Google Glass Works next week.

As always, Tammie, great pictures! Yep, I think it is a requirement to overeat on Thanksgiving! Sounded like you had a good one!
