Monday was a good day. Karen came in and got me up, it was just Dude and I… Robby went for a hike with his Woofpack. We cruised through the lagoon where I saw Melanie cruising around in an airboat, it looked like a lot of fun. I met Melanie several years ago when I had a pond/waterfall in my yard, I ran into her at the lagoon and she started bringing me mosquito fish for my pond… She worked for mosquito abatement. They have to wear a lot of gear out there so the only reason I knew it was her was that she waved. We cruised through Bay St., Park and down Westcliff Drive a little bit. As we were cruising down the hill to the wharf I saw this little minivan and on the back window it said "three old ladies on the road again" I thought that was so cute and tried to get a picture but they were going too fast. We cruised to the end of the wharf and there was that little van so I got to take pictures of it after all. I didn't see the ladies driving it but I'm pretty sure they were having fun. We cruised over to the boardwalk, it's the perfect place to practice Dudes commands. Trish was going to come by to see if she could drive my van, there's a concert at Roaring Camp railroad this weekend and she was going to be there Saturday so I thought I would go and hang out with her but my chair died so I just wanted to go to bed… I'm so tired of this. Rosa came in and fed the boys and Penny and put me to bed and fed me. My uncle and aunt, my mom, Claudia and I played cribbage and then I watched TV until I fell asleep.
Tuesday was a pretty good day. Cindy came in and got me up and I took Robby for a cruise through the lagoon and then back home, I had an appointment to get a bone density scan done and since Robby no longer has public access I wanted to get him some exercise before the appointment so we can take Dude with us and I can cruise around with him for a little bit after. The bone density test went pretty fast and everybody was so nice and helpful, that always helps because it's always really awkward… Everybody does it differently. After the appointment, we cruised over to Staff of Life to get some stuff for dinner for the next couple of nights. Cindy dropped dude and I off at the playground above the lagoon and we saw Nico running by so I got out to cruise Dude and Cindy took Nico home. We cruised around the wharf and the boardwalk and they decided to come home, I texted Rosa to have her let me know when she is on her way but I guess she didn't get it and she was here when I got home. She felt the beasts and put me to bed and made me a filet, mushrooms and onions and a big salad for my aunt's garden. I listen to music until I drifted off to sleep.
Wednesday was a really short day. Karen came in and we did some personal care and a nice long hot bath. The lady that represents this area from CCI wanted to come by and meet us and she had this gift basket for us, Jan Edwards. We visited for a while and then she left and I took Robby out for a short cruise through the lagoon and back and then got Dude and we cruised down to the wharf, over to the boardwalk and back. Rosa came in and fed everybody and put me to bend, I think my backup chair is dying earlier and earlier every day. I sent an email to Yvonne at Numotion I told her if there was a co-pay could we please take care of it right now so as soon as my parts come in we can schedule to have my chair fixed, she said there was no co-pay and said if the parts get in they are coming out next Wednesday at 10:30 AM. I listen to an audiobook for a while and then some music until I fell asleep, I tried to wait until my mom came down to let the dogs out for the last time to make sure all the water is up because Robby has an appointment to get his teeth cleaned in the morning and you can have any water or food after bedtime. After I got into bed Omar sent me some pictures, they are filming the new Transformers movie on the wharf… I was going to go down there and check it out but I didn't get up and out very early so I missed it, thank goodness for Omar…
Thursday was another pretty good day. Karen came in and took Robby down to the vets for his appointment and then came back and fed Dude, penny and I. She got me up and dude and I cruise downtown for my appointment with Carol, my appointment went by really fast because it has been a couple of weeks and a lot happened. We cruised downtown for a while and then back down to the wharf, over to the boardwalk and as I was getting ready to cruise home I noticed my chair was almost dead again so it was a really slow trip back home. I just barely made it back home again, I can't wait to get my chair back. Rosa came in and put me to bed and after everybody ate well just relaxed and I watched TV. My Google glass wasn't working today so no pictures.
Friday was a pretty good day. Karen came in and we did some personal-care and I got to take a nice long hot bath. I took Robby out for a cruise, he didn't look like you felt very well after his tooth cleaning yesterday… They did put him out so I think he just needs to have the anesthesia worked out of him. We cruised through the lagoon, over to the wharf and then back home. I keep seeing these painted rocks on the benches of the Bay St., Park, one time I saw the lady dropping them off… She went from bench to bench and I thought it was pretty cool. I dropped Robby off and grabbed Dude and we went for a cruise down to the end of the wharf, over to the boardwalk and then back to work again. The battery on my chair got down to halfway in my chair slowed way down so I decided to cruise back home. Theresa came in and put me to bed and got everyone fed I was exhausted and sore and fell asleep before she left.
Saturday was an awesome day! From the time I woke up I started thinking of reasons/excuses to not go to the Santa Cruz Mountain Sol Festival at Roaring Camp Railroad in Felton, I don't know why I'm doing that and I'm trying to figure out why so I can stop. It helps a little bit that I'm not really going with anyone, I'm just meeting a couple of people there. Cindy came in and got me up in the Woofpack came and got Robby so it works out perfectly. I would really like to leave Dude here and go by myself but I think if I didn't have Duse I wouldn't have enough courage to go by myself. I bought my ticket online and ran into a couple of really nice people just waiting to get in, the weather was perfect. I got in and cruised around for a while and while I was laying back I saw Trish, she had a blanket set up by one stage and we found a really nice place to be by the other stage so we kept going back and forth. The bands were amazing, I especially liked the first leg was from Hawaii and the last guy… He was really popular. I promised myself I was going to go to more of these concerts and festivals by myself, it's easier to talk myself into going if I don't have to meet up with people but it's really nice to meet up with people. This way they can take off any up with other friends and I can cruise around if I start getting anxious. I texted Theresa to see if she can come and pick me up at 7 PM and Trish hung out with me until she got there. While I was there one of the ladies from the support group told me that she needed to talk to me ASAP but it was really hard to text and using voice type was out of the question so I promised her I would call her when I got out but then forgot, I feel so bad. Theresa put me to bed and then had to wake me up later to eat and then I was out again.
Sunday was a nice relaxing day. Cindy slept in and came in a late so I decided to just stay in bed and relax. Trish was going to have a yard sale and I was going to hang out with her for a little while but I like to get all my personal care and bath out of the way on Sunday evening so Monday I can just get up and cruise around with Dude all day long while Robby is with the Woofpack, even though my chair doesn't last very long anymore I like to get an early start. Cindy put me on my side and I watched TV for the rest of the afternoon. Theresa came in and we did some personal care and I got to take a nice long hot bath. After I went back to bed she took off and I had the rest of the evening to relax and watch TV.

How cool they are filming part of the new Transformers movie in your area. I didn't even know a next one was going to come out!
