Tuesday was a great day. Lisa came in and got me up and David and Melissa took me over to Costco, I got to reports checks the American Express/Costco and it was burning a hole in my pocket. We got a lot of stuff and hopefully there will be too much left when they leave Thursday afternoon. We came back home and Omar was showing me the pieces of driftwood that he found for my yard, he really scored. We hung around for a while and then Rosa came in to put me to bed, do some personal care and a really quick bath so I could spend more time WITH my family. Stanley made lobster and steak tacos and they were AMAZING! We found some angel food muffins at Costco and the girls made strawberry shortcake with whipped cream, I was so full and happy! Robert, David, McKenzie, Melissa and I watched a movie "the big short"it was a really great movie and have a lot of great actors. There was a message on my machine that Daniel and Jack from Numotion work coming at 9:00 AM tomorrow morning to fix my chair, I thought it wasn't going to be fixed until the end of the month so I was really really excited!
Wednesday was a really awesome day Karen came in and Stanley made lobster and egg scramble and a bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon and lobster… Needless to say it was amazing! Karen got me dressed and Daniel and Jack came and fixed my chair, I couldn't wait to get in it and go for a cruise… And be comfortable! Omar came in to hollow out one of the driftwood logs he found so we could plant plants in them, he is so creative. We watched the kids play boxing and table tennis on the Xbox and then Robby and I went for a cruise down to the Santa Cruz wharf, it sure felt great to be in my chair again… I couldn't stop smiling! When I got to the Santa Cruz wharf I realized that I didn't have my automatic leg bag emptier so I cruised back home so that Omar can install it back on my chair, he wasn't going to be back until Sunday and I didn't want to be without it that long… My leg bags are really short and I need to drink a lot of water. Robby and I took off again to cruise through the boardwalk, everything was really crowded but it was just great to be out and about again. We came home and visited with Stanley for a while and then the kids came back from the farmer's market with rotisserie chicken and fingerling potatoes, they rotisserie chicken right over the potatoes so the juices dripped down and then add sea salt… One of my favorite meals. McKenzie blanched some green beans and we had a really great meal. The kids took off at the beach and I hung around with my mom and Stanley until Rosa got here to put me to bed. She put me to bed and gave me a couple of PMs because both of my feet had really bad bruises on them from the Van ramp landing on them yesterday, I didn't get out of the way fast enough.
Thursday was a bittersweet day. Karen came in and got me up and Stanley made another killer breakfast, scrambled eggs with lobster and pineapple chicken sausage. I had my weekly appointment with my psychologist and I knew that my family was leaving so I went out to say goodbye and the kids went to the beach one last time so I said goodbye to Stanley and headed downtown with Rocky. Carol, my psychologist, is never late so I waited about 15 minutes and decided that she probably told me she wasn't going to be around today and I forgot. I kind of panicked a little bit because I wasn't sure how I was going to get down the elevator, there's not enough room in the elevator for both Robby and I so I usually wait downstairs for somebody to see me and offered to help or for Carol to come down and get me. I peeked into the office by the elevator and told them my story, they had on the calendar that Carol was not going to be in today but one of her other appointments showed up also so I'm still not sure if something happened or if she told me. One of the ladies offered to take Robby down the stairs and meet me at the bottom, everybody in the office building is so nice. We cruised down Westcliff Drive for a little bit, it was so beautiful. I decided to tilt back along one of the cliffs and I heard somebody say "hi Tammie, she must be sleeping" I looked up and it was the lady that runs Santa Cruz Segway, I run into her everywhere running her tours… Her name is also Tammy. We cruised down to the end of the Santa Cruz wharf and back down to the end of the boardwalk and back and decided to head home, it was such a beautiful day and I didn't want to go home but Rosa wanted to come in early and get everything done so she can spend some time with her family… Her husband, one of her daughters and her youngest son were going to Mexico to visit her husband's family for a month. I came back and my mom said that the kids waited until 1:00 PM to say goodbye… I wish I would have known and I wouldn't come straight back from downtown. I have the best family! Rosa came in and put me to bed and we did some personal care and I got to take a nice long hot bath and I fell right to sleep, Rosa cleaned up and then went home.
Friday started out in to be a nice relaxing day and ended in tragedy for my CCI graduate friend and his service dog. Josiah and Sabrina graduated with Robby and I, she had a tumor on her spleen that erupted so they rushed her to the vet and had to put her to sleep. I can't even imagine how heartbreaking that is. She was an amazing companion. Omar found another really cool piece of driftwood…
Sunday was a happy day Easter! Cindy came in and got me up and Robby and I went for a cruise, not as long as yesterday because Theresa was coming in at 2 PM to put me to bed so she can go home and have Easter dinner with her family. Rich, Sue, Luanna, Melia and Sue's boys came over to say hello and bring us dinner, how sweet is that?? They visited for a while and went back for dessert.

Looked like it was a nice week, Tammie, and a lot of pretty weather up there! All the food looked absolutely delicious. Glad you were able to have time with your family!
