Monday was kind of cold day. I got up a little bit late because we had to do some personal care. I cruised down to Hanger prosthetics to drop off the front of my brace, the Velcro is getting really old and ripping open. I took Robby for a cruise through the lagoon, up to the lighthouse Museum, down to the wharf and back… That was about it for me. Rosa came by and put me to bed and I think I ate way too much just because I wasn't feeling very good, not very smart. I ate part of a filet that Heather barbecued, it was so good. I also ate some eggplant, corn, chips and salsa and a salad. I was still hungry so I ate half of a quesadilla, some more of the fillet and some more walkable in chips… I really had to stop myself from eating. Some days I'm really not hungry and hardly eat anything all day and then there's days when I'm just hungry all day long.
Tuesday was a little better but still cold, I am going to be so glad when the weather gets a little warmer… But then all complain about the heat. I got an email from the Google glass PR people and they want me to do an interview with an online blog called Mashable, this one was easy for me because they just send me an email with questions and answered them. They also want me to do a telephone interview with somebody from the New York Times and the Washington Post, I think these are going to be over the telephone. I'm really excited because I am so impressed with the global glass I just want to tell everybody… I know that it will make it easier for differently challenged individuals like myself. I'm really nervous but I know I will be really excited after the interviews, I hope I don't get tongue tied and screw it up. Rosa came in for me to bed again because Teresa hurt her back and is having a hard time even moving, I feel so bad that I wish there was something I could do.
Wednesday was a really great day, I put a thermal under my shirt even though it said it was supposed to be 71° today, with the thermal the weather was perfect. I put on my Google glass and took Robby for cruise through the lagoon and up to Westcliff Drive. I saw a big beautiful church across the street so I decided to cruise over there and take pictures, the garden was so beautiful. It took as many as I could and then got out of there real quick before somebody came and yelled at me. We cruise down to the wharf and then I came home and went to the Farmer's market with Tom, Kelly, and Seth. I had a rice and garbanzo bean Indian wrap, it was really good. They also had spinach and eggplant wraps so I will try them next time. We cruised home and stopped on the way to see the progress on my uncles new walkway, it just looks awesome. Rosa was here to put me to bed. Lee and Claudia, my aunt and uncle and my mom and I played cribbage. Lee was once again my partner and I think we lost about three dollars. My uncle got tired so Kelly filled in for him.
Thursday was a great day. I got up and went with Tom and Kelly to pigeon Point lighthouse to take some pictures, the guy that wanted to interview me from Mashable want some high resolution pictures so Kelly took some. It is so beautiful out there I just love any excuse to go. It seems like each time we go we explore a little bit more and find more beautiful trails, benches and memorials. It seems like there are so many beautiful places out there that I haven't seen yet and they are so close, I hope to do a lot more exploring. I came home just in time for Rosa to put me into bed and I just relaxed the rest of the evening. Jess, Teresa's boyfriend, came over to Robby last night for his dental exam. I don't know yet what the result is that it's nice to have Robby back.
Friday was a pretty good day, the weather was great and it was nice to be up and out of here. I cruised around with Robby for a bit, our usual route, then I went to Cosco with Kelly and Seth to get some ribs and salmon to smoke on Sunday. I bought a smoker and I have been dying for somebody to try it out, I can't wait. Kelly took some pictures of me with my Google glass, I did an interview this morning with a lady named Hayley from the Washington Post. I get really nervous but she was really easy to talk to some of me at a little easier. At Costco of course I got a hot dog and ran into Garrett, he's always in such a good mood and so sweet. I came home and Rosa for me to bed and we did some personal care, as usual I slept through it. Now here it is 1:30 AM and I can't sleep.
Saturday was stuck in bed, it looked really cold outside anyway. I watched a lot of TiVo and slept on and off.
Sunday was a great day. By the time I got up Tom and Kelly already have the smoker go in with the ribs inside. I took Robby for cruise through the lagoon, down Westcliff and back into the end of the wharf and back. I'm so glad I missed the wharf to wharf runners. I came back and hung out in the driveway with Kelly and Tom, all the while smelling these amazing smoked ribs. Jim and Ursula, my aunt and uncle, Seth and Alexia and my mom and I had an amazing dinner of smoked ribs, salmon, and arugula salad, tomato and green bean salad and garlic bread. Jim went around and fix all of my doors, most of them were a little out of whack after the new paint job… Jim is a doorman. I have a half bath in the hallway and the door swings in, it's really hard for most people to get in there, so he fixed the door so it swings out into the hallway and put a spring on it so that you can leave it open… He is so cool. Rosa showed up and put me to bed and I wish I could sleep.

those ribs looked delicious Tammie!! I bet you'll enjoy all the things you'll cook on your smoker! Neat too that you did the interview for the paper! Glad you are having great success with the Google glass; the pictures you take with it are great!
