Monday was a nice relaxing day. It has been cold and windy the last couple of days which really makes my arms hurt so as I sustained bid for the day and relax.
Tuesday was a pretty good day. The sun came out a lot earlier than it had for the last couple of days. I got up and headed over to the boardwalk to watch the Jump City performance. It's a group of break dancer, stomp and acrobatic guys that perform for about a half hour. The start up on the boardwalk with breakdancing and drumming on buckets and then they go down in the sand and upon the stage and jump around for a while, actually pretty cool. I had seen it once before with Tom that I wanted to go back and check it out with Google glass, it wasn't very easy to take pictures because it was so loud but I did get a couple. After the performance they go down to the side of the stage to take pictures, I really wanted to get rub his picture taken with them so I took Seth to the later performance, there is one at noon and one at 3 PM, but he chickened out and kept making excuses so I decided to just come back another day would somebody else. I came home and Rosa put me to bed and I feel asleep before she left. Kelly was fixing recipes, styling and taking pictures of dishes with an octopus… It was really cool looking. I got to try a salad that she put together, I just love her cooking. She sent me some pictures that she took at Pigeon Point lighthouse that turned out really great.
Wednesday turned out to be a really great day. I took Robby for our regular cruise through the lagoon, across Bay St. Park, down to the surf Museum and back, down to the end of the wharf at back and we even cruise down to the end of the boardwalk and back. I ran into Lexi working one of the kiddie rides. I came back and rested for a bit and Tom, Kelly and I decided to go down to the farmers market and get something to eat, Kelly and I split a spinach naan wrap. Rosa wasn't going to come until 7 PM and it was nice to stay up a little bit longer. Kelly and I split a spinach naan wrap, it was so good. Rosa came and put me to bed.
Thursday was a nice beautiful day. I took Robby for a really nice long cruise and as we passed by the wharf I noticed that nobody was sitting in the corner by the artwork, I had been wanting to take a picture with my Google glass of the artwork they are but there's always somebody sitting or laying on it. I came back and rested on the porch, I love my porch. Kelly came down and we decided to go get something to eat, we decided on tacos and then some coffee, and then go see a movie… We had been wanting to go see The Conjuring for a while and decided we better do it before it's not in the theaters anymore. It was a really good movie, I heard a bunch of good things about it and that it was just a real terrifying movie. On the way back we decided to stop at stars cupcakes and get some cupcakes, they always look so delicious and I had a groupon so for four cupcakes it only costs two dollars. We came back home and Rosa put me to bed and I had some decaffeinated coffee and my cupcake, what a great finish.
Friday was a pretty boring day. I planned on getting up but personal care took too long and I figured I would try to sneak in a bath instead, it was definitely worth it because I feel great. I just hung out and watched TiVo all day. Jess came and got Robby because he has another dental appointment tomorrow along with Gigi, Jess and Theresa's dog. For breakfast I had a filet, avocado and bread-and-butter zucchini wrap, I am really starting to like those bread-and-butter zucchinis pickles. For dinner Tom made me and black bean, cheese, and avocado burger with some baked fingerling potatoes… When you have great food it's all worth it.
Saturday was also pretty frustrating day. I knew I wasn't going to get up so usually I'm pretty restless but I have to sand bed for two days in a row. I thought it would be great to sleep all day but that didn't happen so I ended up watching TiVo again. I was hungry for something in the afternoon but nothing sounded good, perhaps one of those days? And then my aunt and uncle showed up and said they were making chili, cheese and onion hotdogs… That's what I wanted. We had hot dogs and then played cribbage. While we were playing cribbage Jess brought Robby back from getting his teeth cleaned and he was pretty out of it, Robby not Jess. He just kind of laid around and whimpered. They sent pictures of his teeth before and after, I don't know how a dog gets his teeth brushed every day can have cheap that look that bad… I am definitely going to look up how to properly clean a dog's teeth on YouTube. I lost three dollars.
Sunday was a really good day. Robby felt better but he wasn't back to his old self so we just kind of hung around outside and got some fresh air all day. My mom and Kelly made corn beef and cabbage, it was awesome. Jim, Ursula and her mom and my aunt and uncle came by and we had a great dinner. Even Heather and Mariposa showed up to say hello. Besides corn beef and cabbage Kelly made this really killer salad with cherry tomatoes, corn, feta cheese and avocado dressing. Almost everything that we ate tonight was from my aunts garden. Rosa came by and put me to bed, while she was putting to bed I could not keep my eyes open but now of course I'm wide awake.

I can't wait to get out and explore with my Google glass…
Monday was kind of cold day. I got up a little bit late because we had to do some personal care. I cruised down to Hanger prosthetics to drop off the front of my brace, the Velcro is getting really old and ripping open. I took Robby for a cruise through the lagoon, up to the lighthouse Museum, down to the wharf and back… That was about it for me. Rosa came by and put me to bed and I think I ate way too much just because I wasn't feeling very good, not very smart. I ate part of a filet that Heather barbecued, it was so good. I also ate some eggplant, corn, chips and salsa and a salad. I was still hungry so I ate half of a quesadilla, some more of the fillet and some more walkable in chips… I really had to stop myself from eating. Some days I'm really not hungry and hardly eat anything all day and then there's days when I'm just hungry all day long.
Tuesday was a little better but still cold, I am going to be so glad when the weather gets a little warmer… But then all complain about the heat. I got an email from the Google glass PR people and they want me to do an interview with an online blog called Mashable, this one was easy for me because they just send me an email with questions and answered them. They also want me to do a telephone interview with somebody from the New York Times and the Washington Post, I think these are going to be over the telephone. I'm really excited because I am so impressed with the global glass I just want to tell everybody… I know that it will make it easier for differently challenged individuals like myself. I'm really nervous but I know I will be really excited after the interviews, I hope I don't get tongue tied and screw it up. Rosa came in for me to bed again because Teresa hurt her back and is having a hard time even moving, I feel so bad that I wish there was something I could do.
Wednesday was a really great day, I put a thermal under my shirt even though it said it was supposed to be 71° today, with the thermal the weather was perfect. I put on my Google glass and took Robby for cruise through the lagoon and up to Westcliff Drive. I saw a big beautiful church across the street so I decided to cruise over there and take pictures, the garden was so beautiful. It took as many as I could and then got out of there real quick before somebody came and yelled at me. We cruise down to the wharf and then I came home and went to the Farmer's market with Tom, Kelly, and Seth. I had a rice and garbanzo bean Indian wrap, it was really good. They also had spinach and eggplant wraps so I will try them next time. We cruised home and stopped on the way to see the progress on my uncles new walkway, it just looks awesome. Rosa was here to put me to bed. Lee and Claudia, my aunt and uncle and my mom and I played cribbage. Lee was once again my partner and I think we lost about three dollars. My uncle got tired so Kelly filled in for him.
Thursday was a great day. I got up and went with Tom and Kelly to pigeon Point lighthouse to take some pictures, the guy that wanted to interview me from Mashable want some high resolution pictures so Kelly took some. It is so beautiful out there I just love any excuse to go. It seems like each time we go we explore a little bit more and find more beautiful trails, benches and memorials. It seems like there are so many beautiful places out there that I haven't seen yet and they are so close, I hope to do a lot more exploring. I came home just in time for Rosa to put me into bed and I just relaxed the rest of the evening. Jess, Teresa's boyfriend, came over to Robby last night for his dental exam. I don't know yet what the result is that it's nice to have Robby back.
Friday was a pretty good day, the weather was great and it was nice to be up and out of here. I cruised around with Robby for a bit, our usual route, then I went to Cosco with Kelly and Seth to get some ribs and salmon to smoke on Sunday. I bought a smoker and I have been dying for somebody to try it out, I can't wait. Kelly took some pictures of me with my Google glass, I did an interview this morning with a lady named Hayley from the Washington Post. I get really nervous but she was really easy to talk to some of me at a little easier. At Costco of course I got a hot dog and ran into Garrett, he's always in such a good mood and so sweet. I came home and Rosa for me to bed and we did some personal care, as usual I slept through it. Now here it is 1:30 AM and I can't sleep.
Saturday was stuck in bed, it looked really cold outside anyway. I watched a lot of TiVo and slept on and off.
Sunday was a great day. By the time I got up Tom and Kelly already have the smoker go in with the ribs inside. I took Robby for cruise through the lagoon, down Westcliff and back into the end of the wharf and back. I'm so glad I missed the wharf to wharf runners. I came back and hung out in the driveway with Kelly and Tom, all the while smelling these amazing smoked ribs. Jim and Ursula, my aunt and uncle, Seth and Alexia and my mom and I had an amazing dinner of smoked ribs, salmon, and arugula salad, tomato and green bean salad and garlic bread. Jim went around and fix all of my doors, most of them were a little out of whack after the new paint job… Jim is a doorman. I have a half bath in the hallway and the door swings in, it's really hard for most people to get in there, so he fixed the door so it swings out into the hallway and put a spring on it so that you can leave it open… He is so cool. Rosa showed up and put me to bed and I wish I could sleep.
