Monday was a nice relaxing day… Finally! I decided to just staying in bed on my side. Karen came in to feed Robby and I can put me on my side and there I stayed watching TV and editing pictures from my iPhoto albums. I slept on and off all day and it felt so good. Rosa came in and sent me back up, fed Robby and I and then I was back to relaxing, editing photos and watching TV.
Tuesday was a pretty good day. Lisa had something to do so Karen came in and got me up. Robby and I cruised down to my appointment with Denise of lifestyle management and Dominican rehab, I love being able to cruise down to most of my appointments by myself. Everything was good with Denise and we cruised back and rested for a bit, Safeway came to deliver some groceries… I forgot I ordered groceries. Usually I would rather go myself to do grocery shopping so I can pick what I want but I don't have anybody this week to drive me. Rosa came in and put me to bed and we did some personal care and an awesome nice long hot bath, as soon as I get back to bed lately I am out and I haven't been hearing anybody leave. My mom hasn't been feeling well so I haven't even had my CPAP machine on for a while, I didn't use it during the trip.
Wednesday was a pretty good day. Karen came in and got me up and Robby and I took off for a cruise around Santa Cruz, it has been a while and I think everything just got more beautiful. We cruised through the lagoon on the dry side, the word over the water is getting old and he closed it down to rebuild it with that plastic stuff that supposed to look like wood. I don't like it as well as the wood but it will last a lot longer. Rosa met me over at the farmers market with her husband, her son and her grandson. I wanted to get some rotisserie chicken and potatoes, the potatoes are under the rotisserie chicken so the drippings drip on them and then they uses salt… It tastes amazing! I also got some blackberries and some white blackberries but as I was cruising back the berries fell off my head rest and all over the sidewalk, I looked around but I didn't see anybody to help and then I saw a family drive into their driveway and I went up to ask them to help. I went up and said "excuse me but can you help me for a minute?" The guy looked at me like… Oh lord, what does this woman want. When he realized what I was saying he looked relieved and rushed over to help me, he had a really awesome accent although I couldn't tell where it was from. I cruised home and Rosa put me to bed and I finally got to eat my chicken and potatoes. I watched TV for a while and of course edited pictures, I'm getting so OCD about editing the pictures… Some of them I keep going back and editing more.
Thursday was another great day. Karen came in and got me up and I cruised downtown to my appointment with Carol my psychologist, I haven't seen her for about a month so I had a lot to say in the hour went by way too fast… I hope I remember the rest of everything that happened next week. Robby and I cruised down to the Bank of America to see if I could get a loan and added to my mortgage, I really need to get mine doors fixed so that the keyless entry will work better and I'd like to get this exercise bike that works with electrodes, they put electrodes on your legs and that makes the muscles engaged and that's what repels the bike. It also has one for your arms and what I like the most is that I don't have to transfer to another seat, I just drive my chair right up to it. I would also like to pay off all of my credit cards and my van, this man will only have to make one payment. I really wanted to keep everything the way that is because I don't know all that much about finance stuff I just know that you want the lowest rate in you wanted to be fixed, that I learned from my aunt. I keep getting phone calls wanting me to refinance but I really don't want to because I don't want my payment to the lower, I want to pay this house off and maybe look into another piece of property. I was going to talk to somebody about getting another credit card, twice this year already my credit card was fraudulently used so I want to get one credit card for online and one for regular use. I was too tired to talk anymore about finances, numbers really get me frustrated and I feel really stupid, I will come back and talk about the credit cards another day. When I was at the support group last Wednesday one of the ladies there told me that her chair was going into the shop for a long time so I offered my spare chair and she was thrilled, it really sucks to have to stay in bed and rely on these knuckleheads to fix our chairs in a timely manner. We cruised home and rested for a bit before Rosa came in to put me to bed, do some personal care and my very favorite long hot bath. I hit the bed and I was out.
Friday was a really great day. Lisa came in and I debated on whether to get up or not, I ended up getting up… I know I would've been sorry if I had stayed in bed. Amanda came to groom Robby and Karen's friend came to pick up the spare chair. I always like to go to the concert on the beach but by the end of the day I usually talk myself out of it and then again I'm sorry later on that night. Sacha texted me and asked me if I would like to meet her down there and I said yes, now I have to go. Robby and I cruised around and then I brought it back and recharged everything, Google Glass, my chair and my phone and then headed to the concert and left Robby here. It's too crowded and there is usually too many intoxicated people and I don't want Robby to get stepped on. I sat in the wheelchair section and it was pretty good but I prefer sitting in front of the stage on the boardwalk, I like being able to see the stage straight on. Taylor Dane put on an incredible show but it went by too fast. While we were there two of Sacha's caregivers came to join us. After the concert we came back here so that Sacha could charge her chair so that wouldn't die on the way home. Karen came in to put me to bed and the girls left to go downtown and she texted me later and said that the girls would love to be my backup caregivers whenever I need some, that is always so nice to have. Robert in McKinsey showed up after I fell asleep, I tried to stay awake but I couldn't. They are staying here for a week.
Saturday was a really nice day. The weather has been pretty much perfect, a little cold but the humidity makes up for it and it has been really nice. Cindy came in and got me up and I got to talk to Robert and McKenzie for a while before I took Robby for a cruise. McKenzie sent me a link to their wedding pictures and we looked at those, such a perfect couple and a beautiful wedding. Robby and I took off for a cruise through the lagoon, down Westcliff Drive, to the end of the Santa Cruz wharf and back. The whole time I kept getting really bad chills and a headache, that means one of two things… It's usually either bowel or bladder problems and this time I have a feeling that my host was pinched and it was a bladder problem. I headed for home and rested for a bit hoping it would go away but it didn't and by the time Karen got here me and my chair were soaked, we took everything off the chair and soaked it in hot water and vinegar in the whirlpool bath and said it outside in the sun to dry. It looks like I'm going to be staying in bed tomorrow because I know it's not going to be dry. We did some personal care and I got to take a nice long hot bath so I feel so much better. I'm always so afraid that me or my chair is going to have a bad smell so glad everything got cleaned and I won't have to be self-conscious when I can get back in my chair.
Sunday was a nice relaxing day. Everything from my chair was still wet so I decided to just stay in bed and relax, last night was exhausting so I'm really glad to do it. Cindy came in and put me on my side. I didn't eat breakfast because yesterday morning it smelled so amazing that I want to hold out and wait for Robert and Mckenzie to get up so I just had half A bagel and some coffee. When they woke up and made breakfast in taste and amazing as it smelled. The rest of the day I just watched celebrity Boot Camp and edited pictures, unfortunately I can't do both at the same time because I have to have the worst type dictation on and sometimes it picks up with the television says and closes all the windows. Karen came in and sat me back up and fed Robby.

Robbie looks so comfortable on that pad! I think it is a fun hobby to edit pictures; something too to look back and remember the good times you had when taking them :)
