It looks like we are in for a lot more rain…

Monday was a good day. Karen came in and got me up an Robby and I went for a cruise to see how much more logs and driftwood drifted up on the shore, it's always pretty much solid all along the beach and I wish I can get down there and collect some driftwood. We skipped the lagoon and went straight to the boardwalk and cruised down to the end and back and then over to the wharf and down to the end and back. I know it's all a big nuisance but I think it looks cool. I love how people make little teepees and forts out of the driftwood. We cruised back and rested for a bit before Rosa came into put me to bed, do some personal care and of course my nice long, relaxing hot bath. It's nice at the end of the day to get back into bed, get really warm and watch TV until I fall asleep.

Tuesday was another great day. Cindy came in and got me up and took me to my appointment with Dr. Hurray, I haven't sen him for such a long time. Robby absolutely freaks out whenever he sees him, he just adores the doctor… I guess it helps that the doctor always has treats for him. Dr. Hurray is the first person I let the au gratin treats, after I saw the reaction I didn't dare let anybody else because Robby can't focus on anything else… Not good at all. After my appointment we went over to New Leaf Market to get some goat yogurt, it was suggested to me that I tried goat milk yogurt instead of cow milk, also that I mess pork and beef and more bison and wild boar meat so I got some wild boar and had it for breakfast, and a breakfast taco, for the next couple of days and it was actually pretty good. I have had bison plenty of times and I like that also. We came home and I rested for a bit and then Robby and I went out for a little cruise before Rosa comes in. We cruised over to the wharf and then over to the boardwalk and then home. Rosa came in and put me to bed and I was so tired I fell asleep right away.

Wednesday was a really wet day. Karen came in they got me up and it was raining so my mom took me to my appointment with Jennifer to get my facial/waxing, I feel so much better and so much more confident since getting my face waxed every three weeks… I'm more confident since I don't think that there's hair growing out all over my face. My mom waited for me and then we came back home, safe and sound. We were sitting around inside my room talking and Penny decided it was too cold outside and came in and tried to snuggle with Robby, Robby wasn't very thrilled. He made friends with the But you know how cats are? She decided one day to turn around and smack him with her claw and he has been leery of her ever since, I don't blame him… Cats are so unpredictable. Rosa came in and put me to bed and we did some personal care and a nice long hot relaxing bath. I watched TV until I fell asleep.

Thursday was a pretty good day. Karen came in and got me up and Robby and I headed downtown for my appointment with Carol, my psychologist. If it was raining I was going to ask my mom to drive me down there but it wasn't so for as long as I can go places by myself I'm going to do it. The session with Carol went quick, I never seem to run out of things to say to her like I have with the other psychologists that I have. After my appointment we cruised downtown and then over to the wharf, we cruised down to the end and back and then over to the boardwalk where we also cruised down to the end and back. I'm always so surprised how beautiful it is although I know it is because I go there every day, it seems like it's always different but it's always the same. It was time to head home and I hated to leave because it was so beautiful when I did. Rosa came in to put me to bed and that's all I remember…

Friday  I stayed in bed because I heard that it was going to really storm, well it didn't… The sun was out pretty much all day. Karen came in and we did get a lot of stuff straightened out and put away so that's good. Every once in a while a lot of stuff gets accumulated in my room, mostly on the sitting bench underneath the window. I really am trying so hard not to buy anything more but it's tough, everybody tells me "just stop doing it" well maybe it's that easy for some but for some people it's not. I watched TV pretty much all day until Meaghan came in and fed Robby and I and then we get some personal care and of course a nice soothing hot bath. I went to bed and watch TV for the rest of the evening.

Saturday was a very exciting day, I don't know if that's weird or not, I couldn't wait to get up and out and check out the really high waves. Cindy came in and got me up and we were going to topple the garage but Omar and his friend came over to fix the stretches on mine and my mom's vehicles. A week or so ago while we were part at new leaf market somebody scraped the bumper of my van I didn't leave a note or anything. A couple of months ago my niece backed into the fence in the driveway, I hate having flaws on my van. He did an amazing job! It's back to normal and most great. He also did my mom's car, she had a parked car a week or so ago and was feeling really bad… Hopefully this will make her feel better. Robby and I cruised through the lagoon, down to the wharf and took pictures. There was a lot of people standing around watching the waves but they wouldn't let anybody go on the wharf, they had a security officer stopping everyone at the gate. We cruise over to the boardwalk and I took a bunch of pictures as we cruise down to the end and back… Same on the boardwalk, everybody was just amazed at the big waves. People want to get as close as they can but that ocean is wicked, it doesn't care who you are it will smack you right off your feet. Omar told me that about 2 PM is when the time comes in or goes out? And that's when the best waves are so I waited until 2 o'clock, it was a little bit cold but I knew I would be sorry if I went home and missed something. I cruised home and got there just as Omar was leaving so he showed me what his friend did, it looked great! Omar made a shelf for plants in my bathroom and it looks amazing!! I think he was even amazed at how awesome it looks, he is so gifted and creative. He put my plants on it and some shells I had and then later on I had an idea… He works around the wharf so I asked him if he would pick up some driftwood and hollow it out and we can use them for pots for the plants, I can't wait to see how that looks. Meaghan came in and put me to bed, fed Robby and I and we have the rest of the evening to relax and watch TV, it was a great day. Everybody gets really chatty and friendly when a possible disaster is going to happen, like the waves hitting the wharf. They just love to ask questions or give you facts about stuff that's going on, sometimes I think they just make it up but it's interesting to hear. Meghan came in and put me to bed and fed Robby and I and my aunt and uncle came over to play cribbage with my mom and I. My uncle has a very clever mind and he's always thinking up ideas to solve problems. I have an electric throw, I know I'm not supposed to but I do, wrapped around my shoulders and neck at nighttime. I wake up hot or cold and it's an easy fix. The problem is trying to figure out a way to keep it around my neck, it falls off the back or it's too bulky. I have the lady that sews for me cut it up the middle and so it so it wraps around easily. So my uncle had an idea to wrap a swim noodle around my shoulders and strap it to the side of the rail and wrap my electric throw around the noodle and although it's only been a couple of hours I think this is the best idea yet.  Meaghan came in to set me back up and feed Robby and I, there wasn't much to do so she didn't stay long… Was I really hate to see her driving around in the weather.

Sunday was a nice relaxing day. I stayed in bed because it said it was going to rain all day and it actually did today so I feel better. Cindy came in and fed Robby and I and made a chocolate/avocado cake from a recipe that I found online, I can't believe I had everything. It was really good! My aunt and uncle came over with a new idea to hold the blanket on my bed, my uncle woke up with the idea. They took one of those swim noodles and put a rope through it and tied each side to the bed rails after they put it around the back of my neck, it's been about six hours and the blanket hasn't slipped back off the bed and the noodle is still supporting my neck… I think we have a winner! I watched TV and listen to the radio all day it went by way too fast. Meaghan came in and fed Robby and I, brushed my teeth and wash my face and set me back up, Cindy put me on my side this afternoon. I watched the movie the girl on the train and then I watched a movie called Ouija. I watched regular TiVo until I fell asleep.

California sure seems to be getting a lot of rain this past month! Those were some high looking waves! People are fascinated to watch them indeed. They forgot how dangerous the waves can be too. Too funny about the cat and Robbie, I can see why he might be a bit leery around her.
