I think this week is going to go by fast…

Monday was a pretty good day. Lisa came in and got me up and Robby and I cruised down to the dentist, I don't like going to the dentist but I sure like everybody that works here… My dental hygienist's name is Robbie. We cruised back home afterwards to make the furnace guy was going to require my furnace so will accommodate my nest thermostat, turns out it was just a blown fuse. Omar told me got probably what it was but could not find the fuses to change it so we decided to just let the guy do it. Rosa came in and put me to bed and I was out.

Tuesday was a pretty good day. Lisa got me up and then while she cleaned up Robby and I cruised up to Safeway and Lisa met us there after she finished. We did some shopping and while we were leaving the parking lot I was moving too fast up the ramp to the van and I smacked my head really hard, so hard my eyes were watering and my neck was really sore. We came back home and Robby and I cruised down to Dominican rehab for my appointment with Melissa the dietitian, she was really happy with my blood sugar chart since I saw her last. I had to give up my gingerbread biscotti and give up dairy but she gave me some really good substitutes. I found this cashew cheese is pretty good, it tastes kind of like mustard. She also gave me the name of a good lactose free yogurt and half-and-half. This month I get to give up gluten because I'm still bloated and having stomach problems. She wants me to go to my doctor and get a Celiac breath test. She said it won't do any good because I don't move around if I do get rid of it it will just come back but at least we won't know what is causing me problems. I talked to Roger on my way out to see if he had any idea why Medicare will pay for any more of my repairs for my chair, the last two repairs they said Medicare wouldn't cover because they were wear and tear outside of the home. Roger said he thinks that they don't get enough money from Medicare when there is a repair that they just told me that so they would get more money, he's going to talk to somebody and get back to me tomorrow. I am so done with this company, I have had nothing but problems with them since I got this chair. I noticed that my battery was low, I shouldn't have cruised Robby up to Safeway, so I texted Lisa and she came back to pick me up. I probably could've made it but it makes me really nervous and I don't want to get stuck out in the middle of the busy street. We came back and my neck was really sore so I took a couple of aspirin and just hung out until Rosa got here. When she came in and started moving me around my neck got really sore so we did some personal care and are really hot nice long bath… And a piece of medical chocolate. She put me to bed and I was out.

Wednesday look like it was going to be a really nice day in the sun was out but it was really cold. Lisa came in and got me up and we went through all of my barbecue tools I have collected over the years and figured out which ones we could clean up and use and which ones needed to go away. Robby and I went for a cruise through the lagoon, they are building a new playground over by there, down Westcliff Drive and down to the end of the Santa Cruz wharf and back home. I wanted to go down to the boardwalk but it was just too cold. I came home and Lisa was still here, they goodness because we forgot to put on my leg bag emptier and my bag was full. Omar was here building the bench next to my barbecue area, it looks so amazing!  Rosa came in and put me to bed and got me something to eat and then Susan came in to give me a nice two hour massage, after cracking my head on the van yesterday I was really sore and it felt so good! Rosa sent me back up and put on my snorkel (CPAP machine) and I was relaxed for the evening.

Thursday was a pretty good day. Lisa came in and got me partway up and then took my van old to ocean honda to get the console in the middle of the two front seats properly installed because it rocks back and forth and it's in my way when I am loading in the van, it also rocks back and forth. Come to find out it's the console for the seat in the back so they were able to do anything. I will just have Omar take it out. It took a little longer than expected so I called and canceled the appointment with my psychologist. I got up just in time for Kay to come by and do my hair. After Kay left Rosa came in to put me to bed to eat and then we did some personal care and my favorite nice long hot bath, it always makes everything better. I watched TV for a while and then I was out.

Friday was another great day. Lisa got me up and Robby and I took off for a really long cruise, we have been getting so much stuff done this week that Robby and I haven't been on a long cruise for a couple of days so it was nice. We cruised through the lagoon, down Westcliff Drive and back, to the end of the Santa Cruz wharf and back and down to the end of the boardwalk and back. People are starting to come in for the long weekend. I came back and Omar was working on the bench and the sink, everything looks so amazing! Theresa came in and put me to bed and the rest of the evening was really relaxing. Stanley came by for a visit, he is watching my uncle and aunt's house while they are on vacation.

Saturday was a really great day.  soon became in and I thought about not getting up but I'm glad I did because the weather was perfect and it was definitely a lot to see. Robby and I cruised through the lagoon where I noticed they were building a new playground so I had to take pictures, down Westcliff Drive a little bit, down to the end of the Santa Cruz wharf and of course I stopped by to see Vince and Margie at the Paradise hotdog stand. They sold it and they were breaking in the new owners who seem to be really sweet. It's kind of sad that I just got to know them and I won't see them every weekend in my travels anymore. Hopefully I will still see them now and then and definitely keep up with them on Facebook. We cruised over to the boardwalk and they took some pictures of the beach, it was pretty much wall-to-wall canapés and umbrellas. I stopped in various places just to lean back and enjoy the sun. I feel like I have all the conveniences of home… My Google glass to take pictures, by phone with the music going and the speaker in the back and my best friend Robby by my side. We cruised back home and rested for a bit before Theresa came in to put me to bed. I had some rotisserie chicken and some gluten-free rolls but no vegetables so we went across the street and raided my aunts garden, we got some asparagus and some snap peas so what an awesome dinner. I listen to some music for a while and played solitaire on the computer until I fell asleep.

Sunday was a nice relaxing day spent in bed. Cindy came in and we did the flash and go on my legs, under arms and face and she shaved my legs. I slept on and off the rest of the day until Theresa came in and we did some personal care and I got to take a nice long hot bath. I watched some TV and then drifted off.
