it's sad to see the sun go but we need the rain…

Monday was a really good day. I got up thinking it was going to be cold but the sun was out and it was really nice. I promised myself that this is going to be the week that I start doing everything I keep promising myself I'm going to do. One of those things was go to the movies once a week, I figured Monday was a good day. I looked at the movies and decided to go see No Good Deed. Right before I left I got a text from Seth telling me that it was his birthday so I asked him what he was going to do and he said "just collect all of my presents" I told him I was going to the movies and I would like to take him if he wasn't doing anything. He said he was doing his homework but he would try to finish in time to go, he did. They are in the process of redoing the movie theater and it is AWESOME. All of the seats recline and there is a cup holder on each side that can fit any size In the world. The sound was amazing, I really want to go back now. It still smells like everything was new and one of the guys that worked there told me that they had just started and they were hoping to be done by October. I wanted to stop by cold Stone creamery after and get sent a cake for his birthday, they have some really delicious looking cakes there. My favorite was peanut butter and chocolate with almond Rocha on the top, too bad I can't have any. Seth picked out mint chocolate chip, that when looked really good also… It had Oreos on the top. Seth went home to go to dinner with his family and I took Robby down to the wharf, every day that I'm up I like to visit the wharf. I cruised down to the end and back and then down to the end of the boardwalk and back and then cruised home. I rested for a bit and then Rosa came in to put me to bed. I forgot to do my exercises and the light thing on my face, there are three different light beams in this machine. Hopefully I will remember tomorrow.

Tuesday was a good day, I thought the sun was going to go away but it was back out and bright today. I decided to stay in bed and get some rest. Lisa came in and fed Robby and I and then took my van over to Scott's auto body to get it fixed, they said it would take a couple of days. She came back and put stuff in the bottom of my lanterns, she was so creative that I love everything she does… They look gorgeous!  She also took some pictures of some of the flowers I have around my yard. The rest of the day I just relaxed and although I downloaded a couple of movies I didn't get to watch them. I don't know if it's OCD or what but I can't watch a movie if I have a bunch of shows TiVo did that I need to watch.  Rosa came in and we did some personal care and I got to take a nice long hot bath, the best feeling in the world.

Wednesday was a great day. Susan came in and gave me a massage and I must've been so relaxed that I fell asleep, I didn't even hear her leave. I woke up to Karen asking me what I would like to have for breakfast, what a great feeling. Omar painted the inside of one of my cupboards with chalkboard paint and it turned out so great that I wanted to do all of my cupboards, why not? Karen got me up and dressed and I took off for cruise with Robby. The fixing all the sidewalks in this area so maneuvering around the torn up sidewalks is interesting but it will be nice when it's done, a lot of it sidewalks have really deep pot marks so I'm sure they won't be a lot smoother. I cruised down to the end of the wharf and back and then cruised around the boardwalk and took a bunch of pictures, it's so great to have my Google glass back again. I texted Rosa to see if she wanted to meet me for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at the Jack O'Neill lounge and she said yes. She had been telling me that she was craving a martini and I'm always in the mood for calamari, we also had a Caprese Salad. The same thing I had when I went with Kelly and it was awesome. While we were sitting there a gentleman came out to sit down. After a couple minutes she started talking to us, I could tell that there was something she was dying to tell us. He said that just a couple of weeks ago he dove into the lake and broke his neck and it scared him and his wife to death, his wife was the only person around when it happened. He said he's making a full recovery except for a little bit of problems with his right side but it's only been a couple of weeks and the doctor told him that he might make a full recovery, he was very emotional and I'm so grateful it turned out the way it did. We came on home and Rosa put me to bed and I watched TV for a little bit and that's the last thing I remember.

Thursday was a really great day. I got up to take Robby for cruise and got almost over to the lagoon and noticed my cell phone was dead, we charged it all night so I don't get it. I turned around and healthcare and plug it back in for a while and just watch TV. It wasn't fully charged but I hugged my mom come down and put it back on my chair around 1 PM because I have an appointment at 2 PM at pet Smart for a couple of tuneup lessons for Robby and I, Robby is just not himself self since he ate that sand dollar and had surgery. She did really good and I don't have that much to worry about, I just need to work with him a little extra.  Omar made me Shelves to put in the corner of my room to put my medical equipment on, a couple of them need to keep the battery charged and it's hard to remember to plug it in and recharge it every once in a while so we found a power strip with a timer on it, the shelves look awesome! He also painted the inside of my cabinet doors with chalkboard paint so we can write on them, I think that's going to work out great. I got another sea glass tree from my neighbor Mark, is so cool! I came back to Lisa did the ion detox machine, it looked better but still looks a little nasty. She put me to bed and we did some personal care and I got to take a nice long hot bath. Teresa came in and did payroll wasn't feeling very good so she just rested as much as Teresa can rest.

Friday started out to be really good day. I thought it was going to be cold but it turned out to be really nice. I took Robby for cruise and then decided to go see a movie that was recommended by Lisa called This is where I leave you. I saw the preview on TV and it looked really funny and had a lot of good people in it. It was an excellent movie, I loved it! While I was in the theater Karen texted me and said that it was pouring rain so is a little nervous but by the time I got out the sun was out. I made it almost home, just a couple blocks away, and as I was crossing the street in the crosswalk and SUV didn't look and hit me… My worst nightmare come true. She came right at me and kind of spun my chair around and my foot ended up bent on her front tire, that's the side Robby was on and think God he jumped out of the way, I don't know how he did it but he was unharmed. The arm that had the leash on it, my back and neck were stiff but there are only a few scratches on my chair… Thank God it wasn't worse. I will know more tomorrow when I get up and drive my chair to the clinic to see Dr. Owen's. So far this is not been the best month. I came home and decided to call the police department to see what they suggested because I had no idea what to do, they sent out some firemen and they looked me over a little bit and canceled the ambulance… Thank goodness. I got the lady's name and her telephone number just in case, the poor thing was pregnant and looked she was about ready to have it. Shauna came in just as the firemen were getting ready to leave and for me to bed, checked me over and put some heat on my neck and arms and we will know more tomorrow morning. I'm so thankful that Robby was not hurt, thank goodness he has cat like reflexes.

Saturday was a pretty good day. I got up and decided to go to Dr. Owen's office even though I felt better, Teresa and my mom said I should just go anyway. I didn't have to wait very long and Dr. Owens said that I had some muscle spasms and they were a little swollen so she's going to send me to physical therapy for a while. She said I could have some muscle relaxers if my muscles didn't calm down, she said usually on the third day after an accident like that is when you really feel it so I don't feel better by Monday it might take her up on the muscle relaxers. I used to take them whenever I felt tensed up and couldn't relax and they really were nice but it just quit taking them. I cruised the lagoon and then down Westcliff Drive and back, down to the end of the wharf and back and down to the end of the boardwalk and back. Windows cruising back from the wharf I could see that something was going on down by the beach. First the lifeguard cruised out there and then a fire truck pulled up. I turned the corner as the firemen were getting out of the fire truck and one of them said "oh hi" I looked up and recognized the firemen, he was one of the guys that came out here last night after I got hit. I said hello and rolled on, I was kind of embarrassed and I know he was there to send someone so I do not want to stop. I came back home and Omar had just finished putting the lights up on my back porch. The day before Karen put the shelves that he made in the corner behind my bed and organized everything, it looked great. I rested for a bit and then Shauna came in to put me to bed and I just relaxed and watched TV for the rest of the evening.

Sunday I ended up staying in bed. My evening caregiver is not feeling good so my morning caregiver said that she would come in in the evening instead of the morning to do the personal care and hopefully a nice long hot bath. I watched a movie called neighbors, it was really good. I also watched a movie called delivery man, there was a really good movie and it was funny but I expected it to be funnier because Vince Vaughn was in it.  Lisa came in to do some personal care and I did get my nice long hot bath, it was a great day.
