More Summer and more company…

Monday was a nice relaxing day. Karen came in and fed the hungry crew and then put me in the bathtub for about 10 minutes. We did some personal care and I got another nice relaxing hot bath, by the time we finished everything it was already way too hot to get up so I decided to stay in bed and relax. I slept on and off all day and was still tired when Rosa came in, she fed the crew and then fed me and I called my mom and my aunt to tell them I was still exhausted and was going to opt-out playing cribbage tonight. I watched about six episodes of Dr. pimple Popper and then drifted off to sleep.

Tuesday was a pretty good day. Cindy came in and fed the hungry crew and got me dressed in up in my chair, I had an appointment at the sleep center at 10:45 AM… I don't know why I made it that early but I did. Omar came in so I talked to him for a little while and then we took off for our appointment. After the appointment, we went to Safeway and picked up some prescriptions and did a little shopping.  Then we went to the açai bowl store and I bought one to try… I thought it would be a healthy snack but there's way too much sugar. My blood sugar has been really high so I need to start hunkering down and get it back to where I want it, last night it was 210… I think mostly because of the açai bowl. I think I'm going to go back to Chia putting. We came home and I took Dude out for a nice cruise over to the wharf, to the end of the boardwalk and back and then home. By the time we got back, Robby was back from the Woofpack with his new tie-dyed Woofpack bandanna… It was so cool! We hung out in the driveway for a while until Rosa came in to feed the hungry crew and put me to bed, I watch TV and then listened to music until he fell asleep.

Wednesday was a pretty good day. Susan came in and fed Robby and Dude and then gave me a nice long two-hour massage, my neck, and my shoulders have really been bothering me lately. While I'm cruising along in my chair if I reach up and scratch my nose or my eye I get a really bad twinge in my neck. Karen came in and fed Penny and then put me in the bathtub to warm me up and relax me a little bit, it always makes personal care a little faster. We did some personal care and then another bath, two baths in one day?? I think I've gone to heaven! She got me dressed and up in my chair. Stanley and I took the boys for a cruise through the lagoon, through Bay St., Park, through Depot Park and back home. I actually remembered that today was the flea market downtown so when I got back Janet was here so her and I cruised down to the farmers market to get rotisserie chicken, ribs and potatoes… I love the stuff! My aunt had brought over a bunch of green beans from her garden so Stanley sautéd them with bacon and onions so when we got back we had quite a feast. Just as we finished eating Rosa came in and fed the hungry crew and then put me to bed. we were supposed to play cards but I was really exhausted so they played across the street. I had a really miserable night after that, I fell asleep but woke up after my mom came down the last time with a panicky uncomfortable feeling… My body was really antsy and I couldn't calm down. I called my mom back down to see if she would get me a lorazepam, I'm glad she was still awake. My niece Melissa texted me a picture of their new puppy, he is so adorable!

Thursday was a pretty good day, the weather is starting to cool down a little bit. Karen came in and got me something to eat and then dressed and up in my chair after she fed the fur crew. I took Robby for a cruise down to and around Depot Park and then came home and got Dude and headed downtown for my appointment at Abbott Square with my psychologist Carol, I haven't seen her for about a month so I had a lot to say. I am doing so much better since I started talking to Carol, I actually been having barbecues, parties and lots of family visiting and I'm not a total nutcase. Usually, I get really nervous and uncomfortable but it was really nice! After my appointment, we cruise down to the end of the wharf and back, over to the end of the boardwalk and back and home. After we rested for a bit Rosa came into put me to bed And got me something to eat after she fed the crew. My aunt and uncle came over and them and my mom, Stanley, Janet and I played cribbage…  Stanley was my partner and I broke even and even skunked one or two people. I watched TV for a while after everybody left and then fell asleep.

Friday was a really good day. Karen came in and Fed the fur crew and then put me in the tub, we did some personal care and I got to take a nice long hot bath before she got me dressed and up in my chair.  I took Robby for a cruise down and around Depot Park. Joy came by and helped me out a little bit with Dude, man that little guy is so smart! I took Dude for a cruise down to the end of the wharf and back and then home. Stanley, Janet and I went over to the ideal restaurant for dinner, while we were eating dinner I saw my friend Bill building something in the sand so Janet and I went out to say hello, he was making the footprint of Neil Armstrong's footprint on the moon… He is so creative!  We cruised over to the concert on the beach. I read on my calendar it was supposed to be Taylor Dane but when we got there the sign said Pablo Cruz, we were all pleasantly surprised. It was a really good concert! We cruised home a and arrested for a bit before Sara came in to put me to bed. I edited pictures for a while and watched 90-day fiancé: the other way. That's all I remember.

Saturday was a great day! Cindy came in and for the fur crew and then fed me, she got me dressed in up in my chair and the Woofpack came to get Robby for his puppy play date… He's always so excited to go. Stanley, Janet and I took Dude for a nice little cruise through the lagoon, through Bay St., Park, over to the wharf, through Depot Park and then back home. I took Dude and went for a nice long cruise through the boardwalk, it's ridiculously crowded but everybody's having a good time. We cruised over to the wharf and rested for a bit before meeting my family at Olitas for lunch. I went to get on the elevator and it was about half full of a produce delivery they were delivering upstairs, I decided to wait and ran into Tom and Kelly. We saw the produce guy and he said he still had a whole bunch more so Kelly and I took the elevator up, when the door closed I said "how much of this Produce do you think we could stash in the back of my chair… It looks so fresh and tasty. We met my mom, Stanley, Janet, and Tom upstairs and had a really nice lunch… I had scallop and shrimp salad and it was awesome! After lunch, Janet and I cruised back home, Stopping to see the latest creation by Bill the Santa Cruz Sand guy. I love how he not only makes awesome sand art but all of the accidents that he uses is part of nature that he finds on the beach, a shell for the Eagles eye…We headed home and hung out for a while until Sara came in. She fed the guys and gal and then put me to bed, brushed my teeth and wash my face. My uncle and aunt came over from across the street and we played cribbage, my mom was my partner and I doubled my money. When Janet came from Modesto she brought a bunch of peaches and white nectarines that she had picked and she made a killer peach cobbler! My blood sugar has been really high but of course, I had to try it. My uncle, Stan, and Janet hung out for a while and my uncle told us some of the stories from when he was younger… He has the best stories and I love listening to them! Everybody went home, I think I fell asleep before everybody left.

Sunday was a nice relaxing day. Cindy came in and fed everybody and I decided to stay in bed, I'm probably going to be sorry later when I start to get antsy but the bed was so comfortable and I'm a little tired. I thought it would be nice to sleep all day and relax all night but that's not what happened. By the time Sara got here, she was late because of a lot of traffic and extra errands, I have a lot of anxiety and frustration. She fed the hungry crew and then fed me. There wasn't very much else to do since I was already in bed so she put some clothes away and then took off. I watched TV for a while and then fell asleep.
