Thanksgiving is in the past, Christmas in the future…

Monday was a really good day. Susan came in and gave me a nice long massage and I was asleep before she left. Karen came in and got me up and Robby and I went for a really long cruise, when the weather is cloudy and the waves are huge I love to cruise more down Westcliff Drive because it's so beautiful. We cruised all the way down to the lighthouse Museum, a little bit past that. I love to tilt back and watch the waves and the surfers, all the people for that matter. We cruised down to the wharf and then it was time to go home, on days like these I would love to stay up and cruise around forever. Rosa came in and we did some personal care and a nice hot relaxing bath.

Tuesday was a pretty good day. Cindy came in and got me up and Robby and I went for another really long cruise through the lagoon, way down Westcliff Drive again, over to the Wharf and then back home… Another gorgeous day! Rosa came in and put me to bed and then she put away the Thanksgiving decorations in the living room, time for Christmas!

Wednesday was a nice relaxing day. Karen came in and I just didn't feel like getting up so I stayed in bed on my side all day watching TV and dozing on and off. I forgot I wanted to go to the farmers market and get some sauerkraut but I guess I'll do that next week. I've been trying to drink kombucha and eat more sauerkraut and kimchee hoping that it will help my tummy, at least one week out of the month I seem to be so bloaded and so uncomfortable… I would just love to find out what it is and how to eliminate it forever. Rosa came in and we did some personal care and my favorite nice long hot bath.

Thursday was a pretty good day. Karen came in and got me up and we cruise downtown for my therapist appointment, it had been two weeks so I have a lot to say and the time went by really fast. She had these really cool red corduroy leggings so I asked her where to get them, she said she got them downtown at a store called legs so I cruised down there but all they had was black… I got black. I can't wait to try them on tomorrow and see if they fit. Robby and I cruised down to the wharf and over to the boardwalk and then back home to rest for a bit before Kay came in to do my hair. I'm letting it grow out, I think I want to grow it out until I have to keep turning around in my chair a lot to get it out of my face to take a picture or at night when I move my head around and it keeps getting in my face and it tickles. I might just have to start wearing hats and maybe a scarf at night. Rosa came in and put me to bed and I think I was out immediately.

Friday the sun was out but it was really windy, the wind just cuts right through me. Karen came in and got me up and Robby and I took off for another long cruise. Of course through the lagoon, down Westcliff Drive just a little bit, down to the wharf and I decided to cruise home because it was just too cold and windy. We just hung out here and I watch TV for a while until Meaghan came in and took me over to new leaf market to get some yogurt and other stuff, I don't really go shopping anymore since I found Envoy so when I go into the store of any kind now I just freak out and then tell myself I need to stick to my shopping list and sometimes I do. We came back home and she put me to bed and I just relaxed the rest of the evening. I noticed/remembered that I haven't written in my blog for almost a week, I need to do it every night are you just can't remember what I did… I remember when I used to have a memory.

Saturday was an awesome day. I met the hot dog vendor, Vince and his wife Margie, a while back right before he sold his hot dog stand and he told me that he also is Santa on the Christmas train and invited me to be his guest so tonight is the night… I'm so excited I can't stand it! I'm a little nervous about being so cold but I'm wearing my FeeJays and my Handcuffs Plus my thermals and Hot hands so I will hopefully be nice and toasty. I thought about bringing one of my caregivers but since I was invited I don't think that would be right, Robby needs to stay-at-home because he is retired now and can't go on the train. My mom came down and fed Robby and brought me some coffee to hold us over until Karen comes in at noon.  Karen came in and we did some personal care, I got to take a nice long hot bath and she got me dressed and got me up just in time to leave for the holiday train. It was really easy getting on board, I thought there was going to be some kind of hassle, and everybody was so nice. They boarded me first and I backed up a little bit while they boarded another guy in a chair and then they put the rail back up so we could move forward and see everything. Santa came by and said hello, it's always great to see Santa. The writing was so beautiful and it really got me in the spirit singing all those Christmas songs. Everybody came running out for their houses along the way to wave that everyone on the train, it was just so cool! We got back to the boardwalk and I got off and took some more pictures and then headed home, I was going to have Meaghan bring the van and come and get me because I thought it was going to be freezing cold but the weather was actually really nice and I was bundled up perfectly in my layers so I decided to just cruise home. Meaghan put me to bed and I spent the rest of the evening looking at and editing the pictures. What a perfect day! Omar came in and brought all the Christmas decorations and took the Thanksgiving decorations back to storage.

Sunday was a nice relaxing day. Karen came in and I had a really hard time waking up so I just decided to go on my side and rest all day. We tried again to get the files off of my timeclock but we couldn't do it, will just have to call tomorrow and hopefully they can help me. I slept on and off most of the day until Meaghan came in and set me back up and got Robby and I something to eat and we tried to get the information of the timeclock again. The rest of the evening I just watched TV and relaxed.
